You Are Welcome Here
We say this before every Eucharist, “Wherever you are on your faith journey, whatever you believe or don’t believe, baptized or not, we welcome you to join us.”
We’re a diverse community of about 600 people—children, youth, and adults—building a place of love, justice, and compassion.
St. Mark’s is an open community, celebrating the gifts of God and engaging boldly in life’s struggles with love and hope.
We are a place where families grow together. Children and youth take an active role in worship, enjoy a robust Sunday School program, and connect through vibrant activities outside of class. We live our faith through hands-on service and social justice work, partnering with others to make a difference.
Many of us live on Capitol Hill, but just as many travel from across the DC area—Arlington, Takoma Park, Fairfax, Rockville, and Annapolis. Wherever you’re from, you have a place here. Our historic church is more than a building. It’s a home for worship, concerts, community dinners, and connection.
You are St. Mark’s.
Join us.
Love your neighbor practice here.
