Meet the Staff

Interim Director of Music Jeffrey Workman
The ministry of music is imbedded in church history. St. Mark’s takes pride in building a program rich in traditional works, contemporary, gospel, and others. Our volunteer Chancel Choir, typically forty voices in all, sing at the 9:00 and 11:15 Sunday services and at special Evensong, Advent, Christmas, and Easter services.
Music resonates importantly with each service – in tone, words, and musicality. With hymns, anthems, vocal responses – with instruments before, during, and after services – we attempt to deepen the experience of all who come to worship, or come just to listen. We strive to open doors through music, to add to the spiritual lives of those who make music and those who listen to it.
