General Information

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church has been the home of St. Mark’s Dance Studio for over 39 years. Founded by the late Mary Craighill, St. Mark’s offers classical ballet, jazz and a variety of dancing for Pre-Schoolers to Adults. St. Mark’s Dancers have toured abroad in Russia and the Czech Republic, as well as being recognized throughout the Washington metropolitan area. Today, the tradition continues with the St. Mark’s Dance Company directed by Rosetta Brooks.

Children’s classes are conducted in two semesters. The first semester begins in September and the second in February with a spring recital for the children classes.

Classes for children are offered late afternoons and Saturdays. Classes for teens, adults and senior citizens are offered daily.
